I come from a somewhat similar background, at least my father’s side.
His father was a Kulak who JUST missed being executed (along with his family) by fleeing the Ukraine, travelling through early 30’s Germany and Europe, and making it — by way of England — to America.
I, too, will not be disarmed.
Make no mistake, there is not a politician in Waqshington, R or D, who would not be happy to see all non-government Americans dis-armed.
A million thumbs up to you.
Better to die on your feet fighting with a gun, than to die on your knees, begging for mercy.
My grandfather & family were also from Ukraine (what is now the city of Dnipro). Those were hard times, as I’m sure you heard from your father and grandfather. Human life had no value except if it was yours or that of a loved one or friend. Stalin was a bloody butcher, but he had plenty of help.
No, I will not be disarmed...not until the barrels of a couple of my guns are at a far higher temperature than my cooling body, and then hope that the bastards slip and break some bones on all of the brass surrounding me.
