I’m still fascinated how all of those songs got passed around back in the day in the days before the Internet, LOL.
It’s a wonder we weren’t locked away as kids singing some of those songs.
We sang it to the tune of the Colonel Bogey’s March as Im sure everybody did. I have no idea where it came from or how it spread like it did, but we all knew it somehow. I’m wondering now if it originated in bootcamp as a basic training marching song.....Ha!
