<Before the expense of moving to another state... maybe just once vote straight GOP. #WhatDoYouHaveToLose?

Did just that for ALL the California election I was able to vote in. Waste of time there in California. Don’t tell anyone, but I was born there. Not the state spent my youth in! CRAZY place now. Oh to the days of street lights turning on.

"Don’t depend on the worthless GOP to save ANY “red” state."

Well stated and needs repeating quite often.

My brother just made the big move. He moved to California years ago; built a successful business, married, raised a family. Buried his wife there 4 years ago.

He sold his business, his home and moved. Just got settled into a home as nice as the one he sold and it cost him less than half as much money. He has already made business contacts that will mean part time work- which is what he wants now at 75.

He had talked about moving for years but finally got fed up. He said he had no voice at any level of government in CA. His votes no longer mattered and he was done with his taxes financing the train wreck. I really didn’t think he would do it...sure did though.

I went to visit him in his new home last week. He said he felt so much happier already though most of his stuff had not yet been delivered. He said he had been so miserable in California.

My wife works in a major city that has a lot of people coming in from California. Invariably, these people say they are Republicans, but are super liberal. Her boss’s boss is one example and he used to be in the Army. He knows nothing and takes offense to everything. He is socially liberal and for big government, but lower taxes.

He also tried cheating on his wife while looking for a new home. He was effectively “single” for six months, living in the downtown area.

Freaking idiots.

I left in 1973, not too long after I became eligible to vote. It was obvious to me then that I wouldn’t be able to prevent things going the way they’ve gone.

And, honestly, I wasn’t all that bright, really.

Yeah, Half goes to Texas and the other half goes to Florida. Both are non income tax states and are Red. That’s why they keep talking about turning Texas blue.

Texas and Florida are what are going to destroy the U.S.A. If (when) either of those turn blue it’ll essentially be impossible for another republican to ever win the White House again, it’ll be over. Texas is turning due to the influx of Californians and of course the flood of illegals over the last few decades. Florida is turning because of the tax refugees from northeast hellholes like New York and New Jersey that behave just like fleeing Californians, they come for the low taxes but vote big government. Last year Florida came within four tenths of one percent of electing a far left crook for governor who was being investigated by the FBI for corruption.

It’s going to get bad when we lose Florida or Texas, real bad.
