Rush isn’t really anti-corruption. He just jumped on board with it when he thought it was a part of Trump’s platform that would get him elected. He doesn’t so much cheerlead for it as pay it lip service. Not unlike how he has always praised limited government, but never failed to back the neocons over the more libertarian minded republicans.
I don’t hate on Rush for this though. It’s just who he is. He has the biggest microphone ever, and as I have been saying for decades but some people are only just waking up to it, even neocons are much less of a threat to our way of life than socialists.
Joe Biden’s son getting a billion for his firm from China doesn’t really matter to Rush. Not in a deep way. It’s just the (D) next to Biden’s name that makes it a political opportunity.
Trump just called it out. It is the reason we have been getting the short shaft from China for years. Chinese are smart and have been buying influence from our corrupt politicians. Rush, apparently from what I heard him say, is fine with that.
