Heard yesterday that MLB is going to start paring the minor league clubs with one of the reasons these GREAT Latino players with their own countries holding schools/camps for prospective MLB players.
Nationals have two of them, 20 yo Juan Soto and 21 year old Victor Robles.....each very poised for young players and Soto has the patience of Job at the plate.
The Major Leagues sign them ‘cheap’ (A LOT TO THEM) when 15 or so then if they make it the ‘own’ them for a few years.
One way out of poverty......THEN AGAIN, seeing how these guys are quick to praise God when they do well, respect the US National Anthem and the Flag, heap praise on their teammates and coaches etc etc ..
Watch the LIBs tighten up on allowing them into the country for having to many manners and respect.
These Latino players have helped make baseball great. So much better than some of the trash playing for NFL.
