I am thinking of making tzatsiki and see what it does for psoriasis. Garlic, cucumber, and yogurt.
I might try a day of just that if I can figure out what to dip it with since bread would be out.
Gyros meat is the best thing to dip in tzatziki sauce, or failing that, dip spicy Balkan cevap sausages!
Yogurt is great to eat straight. Berries like blueberries blackberries or raspberries are very low sugar fruits you could add.
Carrots and broccoli are good.
Can you eat rice crackers?
tzatsiki is yummy as a dip for veggies. I also use it as a topping on turkey burgers.
That would be even more awesome with garlic. How about dipping into it with sliced jicama? Or carrots? Or (since you dont need to keep kosher) mestballs (lamb would be great but any)? Making little roll ups with either lettuce or wilted cabbage leaves?
A quick, junk food idea: veggie stix?
And invite me over. Sounds so good.
Try scooping it up with celery.
Use it as a veggie stick dip.
