Based on the material, the example of a 10 year old being sexually abused by a 20 year old does not apply. The minor needs to be 15 years or older for this more lenient treatment to be applied.

They are just following the logical progression of the slippery slope that everyone was warned about. The reasonings that you use in defense of gay marriage are the same arguments for sex with everything else, including animals, children, and objects.
