IOW, it's another atrocity by practitioners of "The Agenda-Driven Life".
While women may desire strong alpha men, they do not like a certain aspect of alpha male-hood.
In each of the Bond films, Bond easily gets the beautiful girl to fall in love with him. But by the next film, he has moved on. The Alpha male has lots of women desiring him. Thus, he has little need of any particular woman, who he can easily replace if she becomes tiresome.
At least one Bond girl was a tranny
They already tried this somewhat during the Timothy Dalton era. They promoted the strong female character and a more monogamous Bond.
They didn’t fare so well, but they didn’t go full feminist, like what they appear to be doing here.
Sad, cause if this keeps up, I will not be seeing this one. And I have seen every one at the theater since the late 70’s.
Thunderbra
One reason why feminist movies bomb, is that, increasingly, guys are unwilling to see them as a "date" film. So any woman who wants to see it, would do so alone or with other girls.
Do you expect me to convert Madame Producer?
No Mr Bond, I expect you to die!
Margot Robbie (playing Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad) could potentially have drawn an audience, if she was cast as Batman's opponent.
The very first to appear Bond Girl in the official movies (unless you count Strangways secretary who lasts but a few seconds on the screen and some clerks in the radio room at Secret Service HQ) was Eunice Gayson and the plan was for her to be his regular at home girlfriend who Bond was forever leaving to go on a mission. She only lasted the first two movies though. She was the first to get the Bond James Bond intro so there was that.
We saw “Ford Versus Ferrari” this weekend. Teen son liked it in general. Husband loved it. I thought it was interesting. A good mix of human drama and humor. Plus the history of how Ferrari dinked with Ford and Ford got back at them ... plus what were likely real ways they messed with the Ferrari team on the tracks.
I’ll say that is in the death throes. I saw the trailer for the final Star Wars movie coming out Christmas, and it was the first one we had NO interest in seeing. Rogue One was a “meh”. Not really an interest in seeing ‘The Mandalorian’ either.
And we’re hard science fiction fans. As in I write and review science fiction, and as a family, we go to science fiction conventions. If WE are turned off by it, a lot of people are.

Time for Jane Blonde jokes?
If they have to state that the characters are strong and intelligent, then they probably are not. I guess they want to have the characters actually show themselves to be strong and intelligent.
Like the media telling us that Hillary! was the smartest woman on the planet.
Where have I heard that before...?
No, no, no. They're 'fixing' it.
So its gonna be like Bond’s Angels. A box office crash. They may learn yet.
I was beginning to think nothing could kill James Bond. I forgot political correctness and feminism. I don’t go to 007 movies to be lectured about my identity politics sins or to snore. Good thing there are plenty of old movies to watch - until those are removed for being politically incorrect.
I always thought the women in bond movies were strong and intelligent.
I guess these people are all mysogynists who think women can’t be strong or intelligent unless they have a certain look or act.
Go woke, go broke is about to hit the James Bond franchise. And thats after it has killed:
Charlies Angels
Terminator
Ghostbusters
Godzilla
Men in Black
X-Men
Doctor Who
