At some point, probably not in my lifetime, conservatives will figure out that there is simply NOTHING they can do to control the public schools their kids go to (since the schools answer to government, not parents).
At that point, maybe some 43 years from now, conservatives will take the needed steps to REMOVE their kids from those hell-holes, even if it means having to step-down their ‘lifestyle’ a bit, and not being able to keep up with the Jones’.
But I figure that since I’ve been waiting over 40 years for that day...we’ll likely be another 40 years, as I certainly see no movement in that direction where I live...all I see are Trump supporters putting their kids on those big yellow buses every morning...to God only knows what awaits those poor children.
We have one chance at raising our kids in the way they should go; why give them into the hands of malicious, the depraved and the uncaring? Kids are too precious and individualistic to hand over to a soul crushing system.
I don’t believe parents actually understand what they are giving up.
