The only advertising I have seen on TV today is the start of Bloomberg’s $32 million political ad campaign.
Bloomberg isn’t playing by the DNC primary candidate rules, so it is going to be interesting to see how the other Democratic candidates are going to react to him and how the party bends its own process to let the rich guy muscle his way into the party. He is also the antithesis of what a number of the more competitive Democratic candidates have been running against.
The Republicans could play up a lot of his privileged background and behavior against him. The only thing that makes him dangerous is his money.
No need for Trump to spend on dime on any advertising now.
I think Bloomberg is going to get trounced by the DNC/Media blitz against him.
No way people like Warren and Bernie the others will let him waltz in here.
Hes a short guy. Trump towers over him.
I was at one time really worried about him getting in, but I think its too late for him now. How will he qualify for debates?
Hes from NY. I assume hes Jewish?
Used to be a republican?
Trump should say nothing about him....well see what happens, but the media will take him out fast.....
And the fact that he knows how to use it politically tactically.
Money in and of itself doesn't make you dangerous, contrary to popular belief.
Jeb Bush was very well funded in the early 2016 primaries and flopped like a dead fish. Hillary outspent Trump and still lost the electoral college. Tom Steyer has been spending gobs of money this year on ads and is an asterisk in the polls.
You have to have something else, something that matches the electorate's mood. Wealthy businessmen are not the Democratic voter's favorite flavor right now. Maybe he sees something, but I suspect he will go nowhere fast.
