Late 80s for the most part.

There have been a very few bright spots in TV since.

I spent most of the eighties and early nineties overseas.
So after the rural purge they mostly lost me. I bought a television for my wife in January of 1990, and after I got out of the service and came home for good it stayed around until March of 1995 when I got rid of it.
