I live in a “working class” community. Granted upper level but still a large number of folks that get up every weekday and commute to a blue or lower end white collar job. We have one Starbucks in the area. I buy my coffee at the local convenience store for $1.49 for a generous cup and go to work passing by the Starbucks. I often stop and watch the customers that go there. It is mostly mom’s with a van full of kids and the seemingly largest collection of guys with man buns that I have seen around. This location is about 12 years old. Used to be many retired guys stopped there and shot the bull. I don’t see them anymore.

I make coffee at home using grounds that come in a very large can, because I’m super cheap.

It does seem that Starbucks is popular with women and fashion-conscious young men. My daughter worked at one for almost a year and met more than one loser boyfriend there.
