Lamar Jackson vs. Nick Bosa. The NFLs most dynamic offense against one of its stingiest defenses. A rematch of a Super Bowl played seven years ago and a possible preview of another.
The game Sunday between the San Francisco 49ers (10-1) and the Baltimore Ravens (9-2) is one of the premier matchups of the entire season, even if it wont get the national television exposure it deserves.
The game will be played in the early window after the league opted to flex the Oakland-Kansas City game into the doubleheader slot and kept the matchup between New England and Houston in prime time.
That takes no luster off a matchup between two of the leagues dominant teams.

Versus the #1 offense and #1 running game with the #10 defense.
Bones will break in this one.
Being a Packer Owner, I am still smarting from last weekend.
Defense always wins.
I’ll pick the Niners.
” I am still smarting from last weekend”
So are the Packers.
The 49ers beat them up like they were high school nerds.
The ONLY way to beat the niners pass rush is to be able to run consistently for first down.
If you can’t do that and/or fall behind, you’re dead meat.
How to better unleash the ground game for either side on rained out turf.
Ravens have a backup center, LG with questionable injury report, and big RT Orlando Brown Jr out on Thursday for some reason.
Niners have a balanced offense that needs Kittle, Sanders, and Samuel playing to not allow the Ravens D to key on the OZ running attack that is one cut and go that has the advantage in slippery turf.
Lamar Jackson is a limited passer that is mostly to the flats and inside the numbers. Look for niners to go with man coverage and prioritize stopping the run and shadowing Lamar with the extra DB freed up from man coverage.
Game too close to call. Rain wins.
” Look for niners to go with man coverage and prioritize stopping the run and shadowing Lamar with the extra DB freed up from man coverage.”
And with every down the niners will be coming with at least 4 monsters, as hard as they can.
Ravens will not be running up the middle, and getting outside those DEs will be no easy chore.
Son of a botch! They moved the 49ers from 1pm down to 10am, which is a massive advanatage for Baltimore. Dirty rotten bastiges. Why don’t they jus spot the Ravens 7 poinst to start and be done with it!
When the 49ers win, it will be that much sweeter after the Dirty Rotten NFL jackasses tried to help the Ravens. Jerks.
If you are so foolish as to double team ANY of these guys, you’ll pay a severe price.
Nothin’ but first rounders and pro bowlers on the defensive line driving them to an average of 4 sacks per game.
What do you think a 10am start is an advantage for Baltimore?
The niners defense likes to get up early and eat big.
You are all missing something. If the 49ers are going to lose a game this should be the one. Different conference. The big games will be against N.O. and Seattle. First priority is no broken bones. Winning the game is second.
Should be a good game.
Seahawk fan, so... Rooting for Baltimore.
“Different conference. The big games will be against N.O. and Seattle.”
Yes, those are critical games, especially Seattle. That is a must-win for the niners having already lost an OT game to them.
N.O. is not likely to be an outsized challenge as they have no running game and no defense. And a pass-only team cannot beat the niners in any universe.
But the intimidation factor of beating the #1 offense on the road is immense. Niners would instantly be recognized as unbeatable...at least until the final game of the season with Seattle.
Interestingly, their defense gets better every game. Better pass rush, better against the run and better coverage in the odd chance somebody gets a pass off unmolested.
They are coordinated, synchronized and absolutely determined to shut you down. And they are big, strong and fast.
Their defensive line could take all four spots in the pro bowl.
You don’t want the last game of the season to count.
The San Fransickos are clearly showing the effects of being just about the worst team for several years. High draft picks and decent coaching goes a long way.
And trades.
10AM pst game. Niners won’t be awake. I say blow it or put Bosa at nose guard against the 2nd string center.
Good info how da hot Boyz attack BAL O.
