Pence has learned a lot but I don’t think he really wants it. I hope he’s Trump’s VP pick next time, though, because he’s been great.

2024 will be interesting, since its 4 years away its hard to predict where things will be.
It is RARE that a party hold the white house for a 3rd term in a row.. at least in the modern era. Odds are that we will likely see an economic downturn in the 2nd Trump term, (just regular business cycles) and in spite of what all the pundits say, THAT is the number one driver of elections... If the Economy is good in 2024, GOP may hold the WH... if its not, they almost certainly won’t.
If the GOP doesn’t recognize how and why Trump is president, I would say its almost certain that the Dems will take the WH is 2024... Because the TRUMP base is NOT the GOP BASE.. and if the GOP acts in 2024, like it did in 2016, those Trump Voters that put him in the WH, and will put him in there a second time handily next fall WILL NOT SHOW UP in 2024....
SO I truly hope the GOP realizes that if they think they can just go back to the way they were pre trump, and let the same old uniparty establishment hacks and money men drive them back to globalism and open borders, they will not win in 2024... and possibly never again.
The Republican Party has some very talented people to choose from.
