Do you have any advice for this?

I have a Twitter account I use only for weather/climate, and I thought I’d use this phone for that and keep it off of my main account. It’s amazing how touchy people can get when arguing about climate!

I’m just going from memory and casual research on this. So take it with a grain of salt.

Your account information and contacts are on the SIM card in the phone. Even with a factory reset that info is still there. The surest way to do a completely fresh restart is to get a new SIM from your provider, or you can do a SIM card reset through the phones options.

If you just pull out the SIM the phone should still work on wifi, just like a little tablet. You can then connect it with a “hotspot” on your new phone and “steal” it’s data connection.
