I’m not that impressed with 5G. It can be blocked by anything, even your own body. China is using “sub-6” 5G, but we are at the low end of the frequency because the DOD owns sub-6 and isn’t letting go.
I could have 5G now with my z4. It accepts “mods,” which stick to the back magnetically. I have a JBL speaker mod on it now, and I carry a spare battery. But I seriously doubt there are many 5G senders in my neck of the desert.
LTE4 seems to do just fine for me.
But I’d love to have that 11+ camera.

I hope it's true that DoD is holding on. DoD gave up part of the L-band under the previous administration. That screwed things up royally for some Army radios.
