Their “standards” are supposed to be to choose the person who made the most impact, was most covered in news, in the preceding year. So, they keep publishing stories about Greta and, voila! ... she becomes “Person of the Year.” They didn’t even cover the 16 year old who discovered a way to safely rid the ocean of plastics.

I can say “Yep- and did you know they also selected Stalin and Hitler as ‘man of the year’ too? That magazine has absolutely no credibility at all- the award is worthless!”
