I love that song. I was leery when you said Andy Williams was on it, but he was very good. Great 3-way harmonies, and well worth the listen.
Thanks.
Thank you. My parents were fans of this show. I remember this.
I have loved that song since childhood. It was on one of the few albums my parents had. I have the CD and piano sheet music. The Sound of Silence is beautiful on my piano, as is Parsley Sage Rosemary & Thyme.
Andy blended perfectly with Simon and Garfunkel.
Thanks for posting!
Really. I will definitely check that out.
Nicely done. Simply done.
Good musicians can create an entertaining performance with very few tools and special conditions.
Today, I went to an ACE Hardware store. In the front stood four men in their red ACE vests gathered around a Salvation Army kettle. They sang Christmas Carols.
Two played the Ukulele. It was fun and very pleasing.
They even sang some of the Holy songs, like one of my favorite; O’Come, O’ Come, Emanuel. Nice!
I donated $2.

My first concert was at the Hollywood Bowl in 1967.
Headliner was the Loving Spoonful. Warm up band was Simon and Garfunkel.
Just beautiful. Whatever happened to music like that?
To all:
You are welcome.
Just something nice that popped up on my You Tube acct.
