As a Florida man since 1978 I can assure everyone that most of our mentally ill are not homeless. They were that way when they arrived from “up north” after taking early retirement to move here so they could constantly talk about how much better everything is “up north”.
Florida Man = Freedom Man
I 75 south of Gainesville has to be the worst I have ever seen. The one time I drove it I saw three different fatal accidents, people going 100 mph and bumper to bumper. Insanity. I go way out of my way to avoid it.
I remember going back to school from South Florida was always a nightmare, between all the FSU and Florida students on the road heading back.
That’s true, but also helps by putting the State in the headlines. It could easily say “Michigan Man, California Man, New York Man...” Find an article, and add the state it happened in. As a Florida man, I too shall make every effort to stay out of the headlines for the next day and a half.
“I made a flippant Florida man type remark and this guy invited me down to Florida so he could beat the tar out of me.”
Sounds like the Florida Man...
Gators were knocked off the headlines.
New York allows you to do the same thing. I am surprised all the states don’t allow it.
