I’m friends with a sports radio guy, and we had an interesting conversation one day about O.J., and if he’ll ever confess. My buddy gave me one of the best explanations I’ve ever heard for Simpson’s actions that night, and since. He said O.J. only knows life in two ways, winning and losing. He was raised that way when on the streets, and learned it even more as an elite athlete. He said O.J. doesn’t look at this like he murdered his wife, he looks at it like he won and she lost. Period.
I’ve always believed Simpson murdered both of them, and my hope is that he’ll confess — on video — before his death.
I only learned recently that OJ’s father was a transvestite and homosexual who died of AIDS in 1986. It was a big secret for OJ and he told the world his father had died of cancer. Growing up how he did, it was probably a huge source of embarrassment and rage.
