So there's still hope. As soon as they figure out how to turn you into a nemotode worm.

BOOM! Beat the Doubting Thomas's to the punch. ;-)

But we only have 10 11 or 12 years left right? 500 years? These guys must be climate deniers!

There’s just so much we can learn from nematodes.

They’re getting ready to launch a spaceship to Mars.

With my luck, this will hit the market for only $20 a month in 2045.

When I’m in my late 80’s.

Hell, I’m not sure I’d be interested in it if it was for sale at that price now.

My life span will be eternal because of Jesus. Who wants to keep living in a failing mortal body?

Nematodes...
Hold on there. Is this something you have to eat, or can you just rub it on?

As an undergrad at UCSD around 1984-85, I attended an evening talk on life extension.

The speaker said with our knowledge at the time, it was possible for humans to live much longer, healthy lives well into our 120th year or so.

A voice in mid-audience said “oh, great, we’ll NEVER get rid of the department chairman” (who happened to be in attendance).

The laughter was immediate, raucous, and followed by sporadic outbreaks as the comment was repeated to those who didn’t quite catch it.

One of the funniest things I’d ever heard in school.

Here’s a thought: George Soros, Nancy Pelosi, Nadler, Schitt, live to 500?

Yeah, I’m a buzzkill.

No thanks, unless they also find a way to eliminate painful ailments like arthritis, and loss of hearing and eyesight, etc. One can only take so much pain and disability.

Hey, with a little luck, they get this stuff figured out in another 15-20 years. (I figure I am good for another 30, with a little luck.) Between medical stuff like this, or uploading one’s consciousness and memories into a computer, and ultimately with the final assurance from my faith in Christ, I feel pretty good about the future, consciousness wise.
