My theory is that if you look at the world 200 years from now everything will be flipped.
Today’s prosperous countries will be the new “Third World” as millions of refugees move in, and the productive class flees for the lands those refugees left behind to build new, prosperous societies there.
And the cycle will continue.

Africa breed like cockroaches. War, famine, HIV, disease, CW, genocide and their population is still supposed to double in the next 100 years.
I think what will happen through innovation agriculture and terra forming formally inhospitable areas will be colonized. I’m expecting places like Greenland, N& S Pole will be colonized by the wealthy and they will leave out the undesirables. Sorta what Dubai and the UAE is doing now but on a larger scale.
That or moon colonies.
