Understatement of the Century from the writer.
total a$$hole maneuver and i hope they get caught.
...but it was ecofascists.
caltrop - a creeping plant with woody carpels that typically have hard spines and resemble military caltrops.
I get these in my yard. They grow all over
Years ago some friends and I rented bicycles for a ride along a beach road in Thailand.
About 1 KM down the road, we found that our tires were all all flat - punctured by things like looked like large staples bent into jacks. Looking up, it just so happened there was a road-side bicycle tire-repair shack right there....
Mother nature shall not be defiled by people or some other bombastic nonsense. I bet if caught, the cork spiker will be a runner who hates mountain bikes.
Similar to “jackrocks” - a favorite on roadways near picket lines during miners’ strikes in West Virginia and Kentucky.
Probably the other way around. Bikers are some of the most beligerant beings on earth.
Must be a different breed of bikers you know, the ones I come across drink beer not wine.
I’ve never been attacked by a runner while in my vehicle .
It’s a strange chain of events that leads to a person’s saying that.
Wow! What’s the odds of that?! You lucked out. (Nudge, nudge.)
Mucking Fuslims.
Back in my motorbike riding days there was trail not far from my house that somebody decided to string a rope across at neck-level and a motorbiker hit it.
They never caught the killer.
Just another thing to add to the list of Things that can kill you in Australia
Years ago, a buddy and I borrowed another guys jeep for a quick errand. We saw an enticing dirt road and took a left turn. About 1/2 mile down the road, we went through a large puddle that turned out to be 3 feet deep.
The guy who lived near there just happened to have a backhoe handy and for only $50 he’d be glad to pull us out.
We figured out another way.
Coincidentally, my 20 year old son lost his job a week ago when the company went bankrupt. He decided to meander down a dirt road near the shop and drove across a patch of ice that shattered underneath him. He was in a four foot deep sinkhole. His truck was totaled.
He got a new job today and starts in a week. Fortunately our other son just bought a newer car so we have an extra one laying around. He lives about 700 miles from us and will be embarking on an adventure of a Greyhound ride to get here.
For some reason, the normal $150 plane fare is $400.
Yeah, crossed my mind.
Crappy thing to do, muzz have no low.
The first suspect the police should look at:
Paul Roberts, age 42, resident of New South Wales.
Because when your car hit the runner he died?
Try riding a bicycle on the shoulder of a road, not even outside 1/3 of the lane where you have the right to be and see how your perception changes.
The worst motorist are ones with “Save the Earth” bumper stickers on their Prius
