You just need to figure out the minimal amount of drivers your PC needs to function. I have Win 7 and a Ryzen 5 working together.

And speaking of Ryzen 5, the price of Ryzen 5 3400G at 149.99 can be a good buy even though it has increased (maybe due to coronavirus). I am running Ryzen 3 3200G, thank God, as a low-cost upgrade.
