Not just that but they’re being politically correct by sending 7 the infected to Lackland and 7 to Travis. Or was Travis a layover to a third place? There was later a #15 man who was sent to Omaha who seems to be bad. This way everyone gets an equal chance of catching it. Diversity lives even with deadly diseases.
One gal, don’t remember where, was released from quarantine on day 14 but on day 21 tested positive.

FYI, there wasn’t a single elastic release cat collar to be found anywhere in town today (anywhere means 5 places). I had called last week because Mr. 8 Lives pulls his off and there were plenty on the shelves. There goes the Made in China supply.
So, I was listening to an interview on Fox News–(9:30 AM with Ed Henry)–with an American couple trapped on that Japanese cruise ship. On the day before the quarantine, the entire ship was tested via a single EAR-insertion thermometer– without a disposable tip. Talk about the mother of all f*** ups. Inserting a coronavirus-contaminated item into an exposed orifice of 4000 healthy people!

Don’t recall which ship but one US couple opened the partition between them and their neighbor’s balcony so they could freely visit. They had movie night and the next day one of the wives tested positive. Real smart there, huh.

I agree, but it would seem this scenario would have been rather simple to see coming.
A national health team should have been on site in hours, and then controlling things from there.
As I understand it, no pediatric fatalities at this point.

“Doctors in Shanghai are using infusions of blood plasma from people who have recovered from the coronavirus to treat those still battling the infection, reporting some encouraging preliminary results, a Chinese professor said on Monday.
“Convalescent plasma has been proven “effective and life-saving” against other infectious diseases, including rabies and diphtheria, Dr. Mike Ryan, head of WHO’s health emergencies program, told reporters in Geneva.
“It is a very important area to pursue,” Ryan said.
“Because what hyperimmune globulin does is it concentrates the antibodies in a recovered patient. You are essentially giving the new victim’s immune system a boost of antibodies to hopefully get them through the very difficult phase.
“So it must be given at the right time, because it mops up the virus in the system, and it just gives the new patient’s immune system a vital push at the time it needs it. But it has to be carefully timed and it’s not always successful.”

I don’t think China wants business reopened- but wants to look like it’s happening.
