This will be the forever thread.
California.
U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton granted a temporary restraining order after the city of Costa Mesa filed a request for an injunction earlier in the day. Named as defendants were the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the California Governors Office of Emergency Services and the California Department of General Services.

Someone needs to ask the nationality of the patients in question.
FOIA if possible.
I suspect these are NOT Americans.
On a different note, she just got the bill for the next 90 days of supplies for her insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor sensors. Just $1700. That doesn't include the insulin. Becoming a Type 1 diabetic has become a major money sink. Who knows if the next 90 day supply will even be available.
I think the squirreliness with the whole ‘evacuation chamber’ and the numerically dodgy behavior was to sneak in some foreign citizens for treatment. Aka, ‘assets’, ‘friends’, dignitaries, etc.
Some overeducated elites have decided we no longer matter and aren’t worth even a modicum of truthtelling. They’re literally running over us with lies at this point. Every other country has (semi) working tests but us? really? They can’t even address a box properly and send them to the wrong states? Raise your hand if you believe any of this crap...
(lowers hand)
Wonder how many of them are Madonna fans. And especially of that song about the future (without most of us).
Can tell you from my experience with MPH peeps 20 years ago most of them are doomers who think the planet is overpopulated. They no more need to be in charge of ‘human health’ than Ted Bundy needed to be in charge of a troop of girl scouts. And for the same reason.
Levity post from China source...
“Teen daughter: daddy I want the thong bikini. Me: Ill get you a one piece bathing suit that covers everything to your ankles and wrists. “

No, more like a Cedar Chopper (not that there’s anything went with that) or from the movie Deliverance.
That kind of stuff happened in the plague epidemics of yesteryear.
Hopefully I won’t lose any kiddos.
I was thinking of that Chinese movie director - it sounded like he lost his entire family. :(
Two ways of looking at it. I dated a gal that had a large family. Her mom would take half the kids on one flight, and her dad half the kids on another, so if anything happened at least a bunch would survive.
My wife said “Not me. If one of my kids die, I’m going going to go down with the plane too!”
There have been a lot of ‘younger’ chinese that have died. People in their 20’s. I believe the ‘age demographic’ coming from the chicoms just as much as I believe the overall numbers.
I woulnd’t expect them to admit their military was being decimated with cytokine storms.
I would think that infectiousness for THIS pathogen would likely drop fairly rapidly with time in that case. But, that’s NOT a slam dunk... More study needed??
I wonder who has the fun job of studying something like that?
Yeah - unknown what the actual relationship(s) were, there, right? But I could have missed something.
It’s probabilities, not certainties, anyway, esp. at this point...
I’m much more appalled by that report of China adding another 30k “hospital” beds in Hubei province. If that is true...
