We dont know how many people got it in Wuhan, and we dont know what proportion died and what proportion just had the flu and got better. Some people - non-Asians - who have had it said it was simply like a mild flu and only lasted a few days and then they were fine again.
Most of the Europeans or non-Asians who have died of it have been in their 80s or have had pre-existing respiratory problems. Even so, the percentage that has died has been normal flu-level. Its obviously very communicable, like every new flu, so if more people get it, more will die; but the percentage seems to be normal.
In the US, most elderly - and in fact, all - people are immunized against various flu strains every year, so there will probably be some antibodies circulating in their systems which, while they will not avoid getting a different type of flu, may mitigate it a bit.
Chinese health care stinks, their living conditions are 3rd World, and their nutrition probably isnt very good either.
Unfortunately, one of the things that has led to the hysteria is that the Chinese cannot be trusted to report accurately on anything. Remember, they refused US offers of help with breathing masks, etc. - and in fact, theyre now blaming the US for their virus.
This is not influenza, it is a coronavirus. Completely different.

We also know from smuggled Chinese video, as well as the sorts of activity going on in the area, the gasses emitted and, other indicators that the number is very to extremely high.
and it is the re-infection that kills most.
But, if you please, its just the normal seasonal flu that hits China every year at this time, so no problemo. Sorry you are hysterical, maybe later you can get a grip.
