At the end of January the head of Harvard’s chemistry department was arrested for helping China set up a secret biological research program in, guess where? . . . Wuhan, including trying to smuggle biological agents.

Coincidence? Don’t think so.

“Zaosong Zheng, 30, a Chinese national, was arrested on Dec. 10, 2019, at Boston’s Logan International Airport and charged by criminal complaint with attempting to smuggle 21 vials of biological research to China. On Jan. 21, 2020, Zheng was indicted on one count of smuggling goods from the United States and one count of making false, fictitious or fraudulent statements. He has been detained since Dec. 30, 2019.”

Well... I think you are running together the charges against the 3 individuals (Dr. Lieber was NOT arrested or charged with smuggling), but, these arrests certainly ARE indicative of the problems with China.

It’s too bad the good Dr. can’t be forced to repay all his ill begotten gains, direct to Uncle Sam!

The DOJ news article is a must read.
