That’s not just careless firearms handling. That is so far out of the main stream of anyone remotely involved in police work, or security for a politician that it moves over into the criminal zone.

Pointing a weapon at someone who is not threatening you with bodily harm is a felony. The person that is threatening you has to have the means and intent to do so.

Welcome to the new normal. I live in a low (very low) crime area - retail theft and DUI are the worst of it. But my township has an armor vehicle. They have tactical gear, AR-15's, and of course the intimidating black uniforms. I've seen several of local cops in my daily activities, such as at the gym, all amped up on roids, and at my sportsmans club on the range. They rarely practice shooting, just before they need to qualify. They shoot like schiff. My basic assessment in seeing their behavior is that they are really pussies, but try to cover it up by over compensating. They are not very bright, hence they do stupid things.
