The cost of repair seems out of step with damage done by the mail carrier jumping onto the back of the truck. It seems much more likely that he needs to take up his dispute with his neighbor who caused the hazard to begin with. The USPS is not at fault, the neighbor is at fault.
He says they have to repaint the whole side. I guess carrier probably scratched it in multiple places as he ran beside it.
Dont know anything about car painting. Indicated it had to be repainted to match or they couldnt match the paint.Dont remember
