I’m skeptical of the dates of the “previous” (er, new-found) scuffs and scrapes on the paint. Pickup trucks get used = Not likely to be the first person to stand inside the pickup truck bed, to load trash in it or to haul things in it.

Doesn’t mean the post office employee didn’t get in the truck, cause some damage. But all of it?

It looks like the truck has one of those Tonneau covers on it. That is what the mail carrier jumped onto. A new one would not cost that much: Painted Tonneau Cover

Still, it seems to be a pretty delicate girly-man truck if it incurred that much damage. The truck owner seems to be a tattooed loser.
