Covid-19 death toll jumps 36% in Italy The death toll from an outbreak of coronavirus in Italy has jumped by 168 to 631, an increase of 36%, the Civil Protection Agency said on Tuesday, the largest rise in absolute numbers since the contagion came to light on 21 February, Reuters reports.
The total number of cases in Italy, the European country hardest hit by the virus in Europe, rose to 10,149 from a previous 9,172, an increase of 10.7%.
The head of the agency said that, of those originally infected, 1,004 had fully recovered compared to 724 the day before. Some 877 people were in intensive care against a previous 733.

My tracking of death rate, dead/(dead+recovered), had been running below 6% since 3/3.

So?? Does that mean if you are 25 with the virus you should just go around all over the place infecting people until it hits someone over the age of... what???

Take this with a HUGE grain of salt since the commentary is coming out of Russia but here goes...the lady who does my sisters facial is Russian, she has known her for many years, she watches Russian TV..they keep on saying that the virus was created to kill the elderly, that is why the majority of those who have died are in their late 60s-90s..this was China’s way of getting rid of a population that is costing them too much money..is it true, who knows but that is what they are saying in Russia

My nephew’s birthday party is on Sunday, his Dad’s brother is coming here from Israel(Along with his nephew) for a few days..they have been BEGGING him not to come because when he goes back he will have to be under a 14 day quarantine but he already works exclusively from home anyway so he doesn’t care..he’s a stubborn fool just like the brother in law its genetic their stubbornness..hoping that his flight gets canceled seriously who wants to worry about him coming to LAX, being exposed to God knows who, wearing a mask, etc..my sister is 4 months pregnant we dont need the added stress
