Wondering if Trump will bring back gov. foods like free cheese, butter and peanut butter.
With school closings, they’re already hollering about kids starving and needing to get meals to them. Grrr. Ban mama from using the EBT card for eating out at restaurants and maybe kids would have full bellies.
Urban schools here (Indiana) are making 10 meal packages (one weeks worth of breakfast and lunch) of grub per student and using school bus drivers to deliver, or available for pickup.
Let no youts go hungry!
Please! That would be too much like right! They use those EBT cards at the convenience store and spend 20 times what they would at the grocery store. No one knows how to cook anymore. Too much trouble to give the kids cereal and milk for breakfast, or a sandwich and soup for lunch.
All the school districts are trying to figure out to feed the kids while they are out. Heck our old district had food trucks that went around to all the parks every summer and school break. Handed out free meals to the “poor, starving kids”. The same ones who we provide food stamps to their mommas. Why are we giving you food stamps if we are feeding your spawn?
I’ve seen some suggest making the kids lunches and dropping them off for the kids to eat.
Problem is, the deadbeat parents are going to take the kid’s lunches and eat them themselves, while the kids go hungry.
Seen that way to much in the Upstate NY welfare town we used to live in.
The kids never stood a chance.
NYC already working on supplying food, especially for the kids who get breakfast and lunch at school for free. They are probably going to close the schools once that is in place.
