Sad thing is, at the rural school my grandson attends, 70 percent are on free lunch vouchers. That and I am sure there is a percentage of those students whose only nutrition comes from the school.
They’ve already set up the school breakfast and lunches starting Monday like the programs they run in the Summer. How the kids are supposed to get there I never heard. Buses? Might as well have the schools stay open. Knew a person who worked with that once. They said never again. Turns out beggars can be choosers.
