I’ve been pointing this out for a while now, and even some of our hysterical FReepers will not acknowledge this! In acknowledging this, they would have to admit the Fake News is driving this panic, just like they covered for Obama!

I would like to point out that Europe has pretty much shut itself down over this. Even walking alone on the streets is likely to be curtailed. No doubt they’ve suffered fewer deaths from Wuhan than Swine flu and they came nowhere near to reacting to that infection as they are to this one. You can talk about obama and fake news, but this all tells me that the leaders of these nations know something they are not telling us.

The world doesn’t shut itself down over a disease that has killed less than 11,000 people—and yet it has. I would like a reporter to ask President Trump this question: “Mr President, when this is all over, will you tell the American people what you really know about the Wuhan/Chinese virus?”

To give a little perspective here, I was not immunosuppressed back when swine Flu was an issue, though I am now.

This is not to say I’m panicked, but I am certainly more concerned now than I was then.

Perhaps some of what you are seeing as panic is well founded concern.

I will agree some of the stuff going on seems to be irrational though.
