I’m pretty sure that some flakes from that Lava soap would have ended up in the sister’s soup at some future date.

I’d hate to think how hands would fare with Lava used as often as recommended. It’s good stuff, but it’s wicked: pumice in a bar.

If soap isn’t handy carry some lens cleaner packs there alcohol soaked and stores still have them.

I can remember as a kid not seeing a bar of soap smaller than a brick.

Why? Because all the soap was home made using lye and lard.

If you needed a certain size bar you had to cut it off the brick sized soap.-Tom
