anyone know what colors are least likely to attract bugs. I am going to do some container gardening this year so I can avoid Wuhanville.
I dont like to garden. I want the easiest possible Green Acres Lisa Douglas type of deal.
Going to try the 5 gallon method thing but also going to buy one of these

We’re using those for our tomatoes!!
We love them, so far.
Easy to put together and to keep plantings watered (through the side tube).

Veggies are less likely to attract bugs than flowers are.
They generally flower for less time and are not as fragrant of colorful.
That said, beans are probably up there for attraction, as are zucchini and other squashes and pumpkins.
Tomatoes are supposed to be wind pollinated so generally will not attract a lot of bugs.
The weekly gardening thread is the best place to ask questions about gardening.

use potting soil in your containers; garden soil is too dense and will compact.
