What is interesting about the old Greenbriar bunker was that only top congressional leaders knew about it—so if Congress was supposed to be sent to a new secret bunker, they would not find out about it until the very last moment.
Since they did not go, they still would not know about it.
I believe they were supposed to go to such a bunker in a CV type of scenario, but Congressional leadership was slow to act—until it was too late.
Mass media reporting is pretending that there is no such plan, but that is _very_ hard to believe—I think they are covering for Congressional leadership (on both sides of the aisle).
The top secret is—that Congressional leadership is a bunch of idiots who can’t even execute the most basic contingency plan in a timely manner.
