Ahhhhhh .... Good ole Bank of the West. Worst bank on the planet.

Last time I was there it took me 45 minutes to get thru the drive-thru. Two windows open and 5 cars in front of me. Might be time to change banks after 62 years.

Hubby received annual rent check last week. Deposited the $9000 check on Monday. On Friday, I received a notice from bank that check was being returned. No reason, just see issuer.

Renter was shocked. He came by to pick up the check. He took it to his bank and was told during the night, his bank kicked it back because the signature was a little different.
He got a cashier’s check and took it to my good ole bank.

Bank of the West put a 10 day hold on $4000 because it was a large check.
Isn’t a cashiers check the same as cash? If he had taken cash in, would they have still put a 10 day hold on $4000.

I’m totally confused. I’ve tried to call my bank but was on hold for more than an hour. Was told they would take care of it. Guess what ... it is still on hold this morning. I paid the property tax and put the insurance payment on a CC.

I miss Prissy Missy; we haven’t seen her since Valentine’s Day. She is staying away to protect us.

I’m still screaming.

There was a new horse at the boarding farm today, a beautiful Norwegian Fjord pony! A very distinctive breed with special coloring. One of my favorites.

I read your posts and sympathize.
Especially during times like this.

Banks can be impossible, I had the bank manager call me one time because I got a huge down payment from another country for a mixer I was building. I had to explain that I was not dealing drugs.... It was stupid, as a manufacturer I have sold to many different countries. But a hold was put on payment.
