The thing about those one-time dopamine hit activities like sex and also alcohol and drugs. Once they are gone they’re gone. They are of little use when you face hard times for a long time and can’t get more
I’m certainly not saying some of them are not enjoyable in the moment but believing in God and true faith is one of the few things that can carry you through life without additional material hits.
I didn’t say some of those dopamine hits aren’t fun :-) but they are gone as soon as you’re finished.
God is a permanent dopamine hit :-)
And it’s okay if you get addicted.
I thank God that He has graced me with the time on this earth to learn and appreciate that truth you posted and to repent for my many bad choices.
Free will is such an easy thing to abuse.
