“Industrial big-roll toilet paper” ...

Gotta have my Charmin man. Hate that 60 grit stuff.

That would be American ingenuity at its finest! As my grandma said, “Can’t never could.”

Sure. It just takes a while. Not the few hours, for example, that is required before the milk goes bad.

Even worse is the FDA certification. :)

I decided about a year ago I wanted to buy a small freezer for the garage. Kind of used the quarantine to clean out the space where I want it. The one I chose is sold out everywhere. Don’t know if it’s because of people buying it or supply issues but looks like I won’t be getting one until the end of May.

You likely won’t be getting one the end of may either.

While deep freezers are ‘made in the usa’, in reality they’re assembled here and the supply chain for the electronic guts ends up in China at some point.

And yes, the panic hoarders got there first. That’s what happened to all the meat and ziploc bags.

I was lucky to find a freezer, and that was back in early February, they were one of the first things to sell out.

The weekend after Trump’s ‘national emergency’ speech hubby and I were sitting in the living room Saturday afternoon about 4pm. The lights flickered hard for a few seconds. He joked that it was the panic hoarders all plugging in their deep freezers at the same time. LOL.

Well it’s more a want than a necessity so I guess I’ll just wait. We recently had a Tuff Shed delivered and set up as an office/game room for me and the grandkids. One of the bonuses is we tore out the old shed and got rid of a bunch of junk that had built up over our 23 years here. We have ordered a smaller shed for the stuff that’s left. That’ll leave lots of room in the garage for a freezer.

You house sounds like our house LOL.

I wanted a new bread machine. Mine is so old it’s ‘made in the usa’. Waited too late. Was looking at one of the new ones that makes a ‘regular sized’ loaf. Probably won’t get one this year unless China gets back to normal. or stuff gets made elsewhere. But elsewhere in Asia is still shut down or very limited so....

If you just wait they’ll all show up at the Goodwill and Salvation Army when this is over. lol I bought my Oster there for $12.

You’re probably right.

I would like to have a second small chest freezer as a spare. Hubby hunts and it would be very handy to have.

We’ll probably look at craigslist or the like once this is over for one.

Then again, freezers are like walk in closets. You think ‘what will i ever put in all that space’? and then...find you have plenty to fill all that space LOL. Now the panic hoarders have somewhere to put the 500ct taquito packages from SAMS or Costco.

My hubby is a meat man. Has to have meat at every single meal. Since all we have is a bottom freezer fridge I’m at the meat market or grocery store once a week. And I hate the grocery store. The meat market I go to has packages. I’d love to go there once a month and buy one and have somewhere to put it.
