I would suppose cooking is going to kill the virus. I cooked some pork I just bought and kind of felt sick afterwords. But likely due to year old expired unopen Prego jar I decided to use up.

Cooking food well done will kill it. But if employees keep getting sick and/or dying, the processing plants won’t stay open. Before the coronavirus, the meat packing plants already had a hard time keeping workers (harsh working conditions, high employee turnover, etc). This virus isn’t going to make conditions any better.
