Of the 14,347 deaths in New York since the first mortality on March 14:
60% were men, 40% were women
84% of the deaths were age 60 and older
No matter the age, COVID-19 is a serous illness for many people with underlying chronic disease.
12,762 (89%) of those who died had at least one chronic disease, with the top three identified being:
Hypertension - 65% (was 64%)
Diabetes - 42%
Hyperlipidemia - 23%

Sweden is “let it ride”.
Czech Republic—everyone wears masks and in lockdown.
