It needs to be stated again and again that a poor economy costs lives. A poor economy provides less money for medical research, less money for infrastructure safety, and less money for charities of all types.

And these “stimulus” packages cause higher deficits which threaten an all-out economic collapse....which would really cost a lot of lives.

Yes and you could go on and on. More suicide, more opiate death, alcohol death, life shortened by stress, life shortened by failure to get a mammogram or other test etc etc. Some minor benefit less auto accidents and some others. Don’t know when, 6 months, 1 year 5 years 10 years but there will be a problem with the deficit.
