Great white sharks have returned to 'shark park' located off of New Brighton, Seacliff and Manresa State Park Beaches in the Monterey Bay.
More and more great white sharks have been spotted in the Monterey Bay since 2015.
Yes, protecting sharks is such a good idea.
Well, that water is too darn cold to swim in, so leave it to the sharks.
ha ha ha- jokes on them- the beaches are closed-
there is an oil that when dropped in the water- just a drop of it or so- will send the sharks scampering for the south seas- it’s a danger scent- and when they use it all the sharks in a very large area scamper away and stay away for a long time- it’s the scent of a dead shark- and the lives ones it’s like kryptonite to them- they supposedly use it in some places to keep sharks away-
I’m trying to picture a Great White scampering.
can’t visualize it because they do it too quickly for the human eye to see- they use their tuck away legs-
If you don't use enough repellent, they just traipsey along.
The really hardened Great White Sharks just mosey away, while the greatest only sashay down toward the Deep.
I’ve heard they do “dicey-does”.
(’Helps if you’re from the Deep South).
That is a lot of Great Whites.
I saw one back in the 90’s south of Carmel chasing a Grey Whale.

You don’t want to get that confused with the scent of a female shark in heat!
To the sharks, COVID makes humans taste like spicy chicken.
lol- nope- good point- dousing yourself with liver juice before swimming is not- i repeat NOT a shark deterrent either lol
