Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli have changed their plea to guilty in the college bribery admission scandal and now hope to serve two months and five months behind bars respectively as part of a plea deal. The pair have for months denied their role in paying $500,000 to get their daughters into USC by pretending they were rowing stars when neither had played the sport. The Justice Department on Thursday announced they had changed their plea to guilty and will now admit one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. As part of their plea deal, Lori will serve two months in prison and pay $150,000 and Mossimo will serve five months in prison.

They should pardon her. 2 months is too much for this. They are letting dangerous criminals out these days.

The meritocracy has been saved. No quarter for cheaters!....Yet kinda admired her willingness to fight. It was amusing to watch this Hollywood Stepford wife cutout who makes her living pretending to be other people defending herself. Imagine the reality of a guilty verdict and a long sentence convinced her to take a deal. Now she gets to meet Bubbette, her soon to be new best friend.
Agree....this is about money...Punishment should be monetary...especially with this Pandemic going on.

How did that compare to the others who were plea bargaining early?
I honestly didn't know it was illegal to pay a college and get preferential treatment in return.
I pay $15 to park in a guy's yard a mile from the stadium but the people with the motorhomes park every home game right next to gate 1.
How does that work?
