Wichita, Kansas – FX plans to air a so-called documentary about the life of Norma McCorvey, who was the “Jane Roe” on the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that decriminalized abortion in America.
“I knew Norma well, and at one time, she lived with my family in the Wichita, Kansas, area for several months. I knew her to be a straightforward, down-to-earth woman who was witty and kind. She loved children and adored my own five children,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “There is no way her Christian faith or her pro-life beliefs were false. The makers of ‘AKA Jane Roe’ should be ashamed that they took advantage of Norma in the vulnerable last days of her life, then released their spurious movie after she passed away when she could not defend herself.”
Sadly, Rob Schenck, who reportedly appears in the film, also accused Operation Rescue of paying Norma McCorvey to say she was pro-life and taking advantage of her.
“Nothing could be further from the truth. Operation Rescue loved, respected, and protected Norma, even taking her in to our own families,” said Newman. “Rob has turned on those he once called friends and is now trying to hurt us. It is very sad that his bitterness and confusion were also exploited by the filmmakers.”
It is no surprise that Director Nick Sweeney would come out with outrageous falsehoods about Norma and Operation Rescue to advance his own depraved, leftist, pro-abortion agenda. Because of that, he simply has no credibility.

Pastor Schenck has swung left... opposing Trump and the 2nd amendment, and disavowing his former opposition to abortion and gay marriage. It’s really extraordinary. Quite a convert for Satan. Pray for him.
Does it matter? By most accounts, Norma was a low-life, a junkie and a lesbian who, by accident of fate, became a trophy for both sides in the abortion debate. It’s a crazy thing. Pray for this poor woman’s soul but don’t lose any sleep over which side the “real Norma” came down on.

Will do. I met Flip Benham who baptized her at the Roy Moore 10 Comnandments rallies in Montgomery. He seemed to be a nice man. That’s also where I got to know Rob Schenck and Pat Mahoney and our group of 4 ladies ate lunch with them in D.C. when we went there. Heard both Schenck and Mahoney give their testimonies...thats why I am so shocked at Schenck...sigh
Okay, I just watched it. I have very mixed emotions. It wasn’t as bad as I was expecting except it was so sad to see the change in Schenck and I had a feeling he had to go through something traumatic to change in the way he has....feel more comfortable saying more in pm to you...will send shortly.
I think I’ll give it a watch. I’m honestly not familiar with Schenck.
I watched the HBO 4-episode limited series on Jeffrey Epstein. OMG! I could hardly contain myself!
