About 15 years ago, my primary physician said that my zinc levels were low, and suggested I take supplements. Looking at my test results over the past year, there was no measurement of zinc. I find the lack of zinc testing to be disturbing.

So I’m now taking zinc 30 mg once daily (going up to 100 mg a month from now), and manganese 10 mg once daily. My goal is to have enough zinc “on board” so that if/when I succumb to COVID-19 and take hydroxychloroquine, the zinc will already be there to help me get past the initial stages.

I know I should be adding copper — haven’t found any yet. My multivitamin has some, which should hold until I can get a supplement.
