Royal Carribean stock has increased approximately 80% in the last two months!!!
Tanzeel Akhtar Benzinga June 3, 2020
Royal Caribbean shares were trading up 3.36% at $57.85. The stock has a 52-week high of $135.32 and a 52-week low of $19.25.
Can RC and Celebrity survive until spring of 21? I think people will go next spring if they can. Assuming the Port Country lets them. The virus is fading fast and unless it comes back big people will cruise with some precautions.
If the Cruise lines ideas of precautions are: -no buffet- cruisers wearing masks when outside their cabins-and practicing social distancing, they will not fill those cruise ships. -Tom
If they go that far they are finished.
I bought it at about $32.
The cruise for Sept 12 is full. There will be buffets but you can’t help your self they will have servers!!!
Good for you.
I hope you have a good trip.
IMHO any cruise ships that involves coming into, or leaving from, an American port will have to adhere to rules made by our incompetent CDC, and these cruise ships could be severely handicapped, depending on what future restrictions the CDC puts on cruise ships. -Tom
Every action has risks...everyone has to consider the risks to the rewards.
My daughter just called me and told me that by e-mail her air flights on KLM/Delta from Boston to Europe and return have been cancelled.
The flights were booked because she and her husband were planning on cruising on the MSM Meravaglia at the end of July, next month.
So far she has not heard that the MSC Meraviglia has cancelled her cruise.
Right now she is getting all kinds of e- mails suggesting alternatives. -Tom
Also cancelled;
All MSC Armonia itineraries from Tampa, Florida from May 2, 2021 Oct. 31, 2021
All MSC Divina itineraries from Miami, Florida from March 28, 2021 August 22, 2021
All MSC Divina itineraries from New York from Sept. 3, 2021 Oct. 23, 2021
Tom here- MSC is one of he largest cruise lines and has very new and large ships, which travel worldwide, including the USA. -Tom
I think that would be the giveaway.
The air flights were booked independently of the cruise.
Since both the airlines and MSC Cruiseline both cancelled, I believe as far as getting her money back, she has lucked out,if neither the Airline or the Cruise line declare bankruptcy. - Tom
Another update
By Ben Souza June 5, 2020
