Please share this ARTICLE on all Law Enforcement groups.
We as Law Enforcement professionals have a LOT to say and share. And NOW -- more than ever is the TIME to SPEAK UP - Take a Knee and LISTEN to the PEOPLE of your community !
Golly! Why couldn’t it have been a black guy kneeling on a white guys neck!? Then we’d still be quarantined without a peep!
Never relax around terrorists. Or when in the company or dealing with actual/potential hostiles.
“be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody.” - James Mattis
They capitulated to rioters and showed a lack of leadership.
Sure...if they want to take a trip to the unemployment line...
My first thought on reading the headline ..
“On who’s neck?”
Sh*t reminds me of Kaepernick.
Showing solidarity while on the job is like a soldier in war raising the white flag. If neither want to do what they signed up to do - their jobs - then gtfo? But yeah, just my take.
I agree with the principle of solidarity in protesting what are apparently dirtbag cops.
Protesting not rioting. Protesting is absolutely protected while rioting is not.
However, taking the knee is to me a sign of subservience.
I liked what the Genesee County Sheriff did. As the cops were lined up across from protesters, he shouted out “we’re mad too.” Someone in the crowd yelled Join us.
So he crossed the line and joined the protesters as did his officers.
The last I looked, there has been no violence in his county, which includes Flint, MI
This is so poorly expressed and written as to be essentially meaningless.

I can think of no better symbol than taking a knee to pause and consider what you are about to do like in a huddle. The moment the criminals press t themselves it is time to break huddle and DESTOY the enemies of FREE SPEECH- the enemies of JUSTICE both in and OUT of uniform. I would really like to read the reports of the officers who had contact with George Floyd. If they try to invoke their non-existent 5th Amendment then they should be fired and prosecuted that is JUSTICE. When you arrest someone you have to write a complete detailed and accurate report. You took an OATH to do that when you put on that badge. Period. Taking a knee calling for PEACE and JUSTICE in this process is very appropriate in my not so humble opinion. That being said I must say I am surprised by the reaction to this LinkedIn article. I think the guy who wrote it needs to have his story checked out. FOIA anyone?
I want to clarify my previous post.
Some of you may not be noticing but in many cities, there are large and peaceful protests. The police seem to be speaking with and engaging the protesters.
They are Americans and as Americans have 100% right to gather with signs and redress a grievance with the government.
Those are the places the police are showing solidarity. As I mentioned, I like solidarity, I don’t like the knee.
I’ve come to enjoy attending protest rally’s. I think I’ve been to six this year, four in the last few weeks protesting to reopen our state. Heck, I was even a key organizer for one of them.
There are always police there. I make it a point to walk up and thank them and remind them that they’ll have a very boring day.
At the one I organized, there was one officer and she told me she agreed with everything we stood for.
When it gets to rioting, all bets are off. I suspect the crowd changes personnel 100% and the countenance of the police also changes, by necessity.
No. Immediate firing if they do. No exceptions.
Appropriate BIDEN and company are all wearing masks.
Police should not take a knee.
The act of kneeling is tied to one faith and could violate the constitutional separation of church and state . . . you know that, thing.
A better, and less ambiguous, act of submission would be for the mayor and police chief to bend over and publicly kiss the buttocks of the arsonists.
You author friend is a dumbass.
Can’t read the article because I’m not on LinkedIn, however I did see the video of NYPD kneeling with protestors. It the most disgusting display of pathetic subservience I have ever seen. Each and every officer who complied should be ashamed of themselves. They are not men, they are pathetic jelly fish. Law enforcement in this nation becomes more embarrassing every day.
ONLY, if THEY do it on their own initiative, not based on demands from a mob.
Anyone who pulls that needs a knee to the groin.
Not while they are in uniform being paid to enforce laws and keep the peace.
I would if I were a cop. Why? Because while the polidiots send me to face these violent crap artists they also support them.
